God bless America,
Land that I love, Stand beside her and guide her Thru the night with a light from above; From the mountains, to the prairies, To the oceans white with foam, God bless America, My home sweet home. "Only a Dad, but he gives his all,
Smoothing the way for his children small, Doing with courage so stern and grim The deeds that his father did for him, These are the lines that for him I pen, Only a Dad--But the best of men." ~Edgar A. Guest The Name of Mother
“The noblest thoughts my soul can claim. The holiest words my tongue can frame, Unworthy are to frame the name More sacred than all other. An infant when her love first came, A man, I find it just the same: Reverently I breathe her name-- The blessed name of mother.” —George Griffith Fetter These first 3 tips about scheduling your Newborn's Photo Session are also included in the Pricing Section:
1 - Newborns are best photographed within the first 2 weeks of life (maximum 14 days old), with 3-10 days being optimal. This is important for maximum sleepiness and curliness for poses. However, if you aren't concerned about the baby sleeping for the photos, we can photograph your newborn up to a maximum of 4 weeks old. After that time, your infant will be considered a "Baby" under Portrait guidelines and will be booked under Portrait photography pricing. 2 - The best time to schedule a newborn session is during your second trimester of pregnancy. We will put your due date into our calendar as a tentative session date. Once baby is born, please contact us (email or text) and we will work with you to set the official session date. I usually schedule only one due date per week. 3 - Last minute newborn inquiries are always welcome and I will do my best to schedule you--but there is no guarantee I will be able to fit you into my calendar if you try to book after your baby has already been born and is still under the age limit. Please send me an email or a text as soon as you know you want photos and I will let you know my availability. You may also find these additional tips helpful when preparing to schedule for your Newborn's Photo Session: All newborn sessions will take place in the comfort of your own home. You will receive tips on how to prepare a space in your home as part of your Newborn's Session Package in the form "Parent's Guide to Your Newborn's Photo Session." When you schedule your newborn's photo session with me in advance, I "pencil in" your due date into my calendar. As your due date approaches I will check in with you to see how your pregnancy is progressing and to give you a parent prep guide for you session. After your baby is born it is very important that you contact me so we can schedule the official time and date for your newborn's photo session. I don't schedule any photo sessions on Sunday due to religious reasons. But I will be happy to work with you any other day of the week. Boys only: If you are having your baby circumcised, please schedule your session for either before the procedure or at least 3-4 days after the procedure to allow for healing time. Have you seen our new Feedback feature yet? This feature is now available for my clients to be able to submit a quick and easy review for the services that I provide.
This review comes from little Nora's mom. I did Nora's newborn photography last year and I am so glad that I was able to get this review from her mom: "You were patient and thorough. The pictures turned out great! Thanks!" Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! |
